Take a good look at both of them. The first patent claims 10V to 
serveral kV with it's special chemical mixture, very exciting. The 
complete method for producing the chemical compound is in the patent. 
It also looks very similar to the rods device! The other patent was 
first applied in Japan and is interesting. My monies on the first 
one ;p. Either way...

Both look promising and similar to the Patent in the previous posting.

We are getting closer to solving the 2 rod mystery every day...
